RECYCLING FACILITIES IN WITNESHAM AND SWILLAND

The Parish Council received over £1,000 in income last year from the use of the recycling facilities in the parish, so everyone is warmly encouraged to continue using the sites available! All these monies can be used to improve facilities in the villages for our communities.

There are two sites at either end of the villages – one in the car park of the Recreation Ground opposite the Barley Mow pub, and one in the school car park beside the playing fields.

Parish Council Minutes Nov 2007 - see item 11

Bottles of all colours can be recycled, as well as tins and aluminium cans.

There are separate recycling facilities in the car park of the Barley Mow Pub for newspapers and clothes & shoes.

If anyone notices that the recycling bins are full and need emptying, please contact the Parish Clerk, Mrs Libby Cotton, on old.vic@onetel.net or 01473 785355.
